John A. Collins MD, FACS

Dr. Collins has been a dedicated servant of the Morgan County Community for more than 30 years.  Morgan County EMTs and Paramedics as well as Morgan County Government, local hospitals, fire departments and the entire Morgan County Community owe a great deal of gratitude to Dr. Collins for his years of unselfish and inspirational service.

Dr Collins was born on September 7, 1947 in Oak Park, Illinois.  He moved to Morgan County upon completion of his residency in 1976 and continues his surgical practice at East Morgan County Hospital as well as Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado.  Dr. Collins also served as the Trauma Services Director at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan, Coloardo from 1992-1997.

In addition to being the physician advisor for the Morgan County Ambulance Service and county-wide EMTs, Dr. Collins has also provided physician advisory services for Washington County's Ambulance Service since 1996.  He's also the Trauma Medical Director at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado.
